This is the second part of the checkered life of Kasuga-no-Kakari, who laid the foundation of the Tokugawa 300 years and reigned at the inner palace. At the age of 26, Kasuga-no-kachi became the nanny of Ieyasu's grandson Takechiyo (later to become the third shogun, Iemitsu).
